What is ADAS Calibration

ADAS calibration (and recalibration) is the precise physical alignment, testing, and electronic aiming of sensors that collect data to inform your vehicle's advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), like forward collision warning (FCW), lane departure warning (LDW), automatic emergency braking (AEB), and several others.

Adaptive Cruise Control

Adaptive cruise control (ACC) is an enhancement of conventional cruise control. ACC automatically adjusts the speed of your car to match the speed of the car in front of you. If the car ahead slows down, ACC can automatically match it.

Lane Departure Warning

In road-transport terminology, a lane departure warning system is a mechanism designed to warn the driver when the vehicle begins to move out of its lane on freeways and arterial roads.

Blind Spot Detection

All vehicles have blind spots. These are areas or zones on either side of a car that a driver cannot see when looking into the rearview or side-view mirrors. Blind spots are why a driver should always turn their head and check for cars before changing lanes. To help drivers become more aware of objects in these blind spots, many car companies offer vehicles with blind-spot monitoring (BSM), also known as blind-spot warning.

Rear Collision Warning

Rear Collision Warning is a driving assistance system that informs the driver if another vehicle is approaching from either direction when the vehicle is in reverse and is backing out of a parking space.

360 Surround View

A 360-degree view system uses an array of images received from multiple cameras placed all around the car. These cameras are installed in strategic points on the car to give a wide view and cover blind spots. These points are usually the front grille, under the side mirrors, and the rear end of your car.

Night Vision System

An automotive night vision system uses a thermographic camera to increase a driver's perception and seeing distance in darkness or poor weather beyond the reach of the vehicle's headlights.
